Picture(s) of the day – missing a Vacation

 

In June ( prior to being laid off) my family took our first vacation together,  and we loved it.  for our kids being as young as they are, they did great on the ride up and back.  ( from AZ to CA),  these pics were taken in Ventura or Oxnard,CA.  And to be honest,  if we were to ever move to CA( or could ever afford, is the real statement) , these would be the spot.

It was the most relaxed I had been in a while,  it was peaceful and fun.

I would love to find a job that made me happy and provided me the peace that I had on that vacation,  I am not sure if one even out there but one can dream I guess.

I miss that vacation and wish I never came back.  I want to go back on vacation.

Picture of the day = perfect Phoenix weather is starting

Its one of those days,  I am so looking forward to winter time.  I know some places have snow and dropping temps, but here in AZ,  we have beautiful skies , rain and the 70’s.  Granted right now we are still in the 90’s but that is already a 20 degree drop from a month ago, so winter is almost here.

I was told once that phoenix is the only place you can go in America in where you can wash your car on Christmas day.  This is great for most ( that don’t like the snow and cold)  but kinda ruins the idea of a magical white Christmas.

In phoenix , we don’t look forward to summers,  we look forward to that time of the year where we can finally go out n’ play,  yes we look forward to our winters.  If you are one that loves the snow and your are in phoenix , all you have to do is take about a 3 hours trip to Flagstaff and you are good to go.

Loving Phoenix Today, My electric bill will be dropping as i can start turning off my a/c.  We have reached the 80’s, yes its a perfect day to be outside

Rainy day at the beach,  I know this has to be cold,  and the wind and the water probably make it colder.  But this would be such a beautiful thing to see.

In all my life, I have only seen the beach like 4 times ( which is actually more times than I have seen the snow),

In June my fiance and the kids went to CA for a family vacation.  we went to the beach and it was such a great time.  At that moment it was so peaceful and perfect,  we decided than that we wanted to move the California.  of course that is when we have the money to move and his son ( from first marriage) turns 18,  until than we are stuck here in the Sun and temp of AZ ( but it is for a good cause,  we couldn’t just pick up and leave him, we love him too much)

I love the rain,  on raining days i love to open the doors and windows and sit in front of them.  I imagine looking at this picture looking out the window and curling up on my couch to a good book, and just reading my day away.

I wish it rained more in AZ,  i wish I could leave and find my perfect place, just like this picture.
